This photo was taken in 2016. During our visit to Namibia that year, we also took a flight across Sossusvlei. I was able to take this photo of this triangle shaped "tentacle" of a sand dune through the window of the airplane.
In post, I used some dehaze and sharpening to improve the contrast, as the window of the airplane did introduce some haze.
