This highlight was taken at the same location of the earlier highlight of the [Vienna Skyline](https://photography.erikproper.eu/0315). This time, I was on-time to record the setting of the sun.
This image actually combines two exposures taken briefly after sun-set. A short exposure to capture the sky, and a longer exposure to capture both the water and the buildings. Firstly, the longer exposure allowed me to "freeze" the water to add a stronger mirroring effect. Secondly, it provided more "light" to the buildings. In post, I blended the two exposures. In addition, I used some "dehaize" to add more structure to the sky. This also resulted in some "halos" around the buildings, which I repaired in Photoshop.
