Week 35 - Sandy rock - EPx

Once again a photo from Namibia. Yes. I do plan to select photos from other parts of the world. Nevertheless, my last expedition to Namibia simply produced a lot of good material, while my private life has been rather busy (in a positive sense) over the last months.

The mixture of wind swept sand, eroding rocks, and a setting sun, always leads to interesting motives. The turbulence caused by the rock, has resulted in the wind depositing the sand in a circle around the tip of the rock. The result being a nice interplay between shadows and colours, between the rock, and the small dunes in the sand.
