Earlier this year, I was driving from the Netherlands back home to Luxembourg via Germany. Near Helenenberg, along the B51 between Bitburg and Trier, I noticed some modern-day windmills in the landscape.
There was a bit of a haze in the air, while the sun was lightening up parts of the landscape through scattered clouds. While the background was in the shade, the windmill and the rapeseed fields surrounding it were lit up by the sun, making for a nice composition highlighting the elegant forms of the windmill.
In post, I increased the contrast slightly, while also increasing the intensity of the yellow rapeseed.
