This week's photo was taken in the Namib-Naukluft park in Namibia. While this park is mostly known because of the red sand dunes near Sossusvlei, there is much more nature to be enjoyed.
On our way through the Namib-Naukluft park, we stopped for a break, in the middle of a (mostly dry) grass plain. On this plain, I found these trees, standing on their own. Seven years without decent rain, has had its toll. Six trees (five on the left, and one on the right), were still "clinging on" to life, while two had already perished.
In post, I slightly enhanced the greens, in particular of the bright green grass.
