A few weeks ago I visited Namibia with the "Geurt Besselink Group", returning with a magnitude of photos that will keep me busy well into winter.
One of the places we visited was Sossusvlei, in particular Deathvlei. This are is know for its huge sand dunes of orange/red sand. At Deathvlei. one can find several trees that have died of lack of water years ago. The combination of the trees, the different colours of sand and stones, and and the early sun, provides interesting scenarios, like this one, where one might mistake the sand dune behind the trees as "sandy sky".
