It shall come as now surprise when I say that the north-western part of Namibia is a particularly dry area in an otherwise already dry country. Nevertheless, in a (dried up) river bed, we did come across these relatively healthy looking trees.

The trees already seemed grouped together. However, as I used zoom lens, and zoomed in quite far, the landscape got "flattened" a bit. This stresses the grouping of the trees even more, resulting in these horizontal rows of trees.

In post, I did the usual share of sharpening, while also bringing out the shadows a bit more.
