Erik Proper's Pictures
This week's photo highlights a part of the Philharmonie building in Luxembourg.
One of the key features of this building is its facade, mode of 823 columns made of white steel. When walking around the building, one can pick out some nice details. See, for example, an earlier photo of the week.
This part of the facade reminded me of a Harp, where the columns gave an (abstract) suggestion of being the snares of a Harp. The setting sun added a warm colour to the "snares".
In post, I straightened up the photo slightly, to ensure that the columns were (mostly) vertical, while also adding a touch more contrast.
