Erik Proper's Pictures
This week I was travelling for work to Nizhny Novgorod in Russia. During this trip, I did have time to take some photos. However, as I haven't had time to select and edit the resulting photos, I selected an older photo as this week's photo.
Even though summer is technically not over yet, the weather in Nizhny Novgorod already gave me a feeling of being in fall. This inspired me to select this photo, which I took on a photo expedition to Norway in 2010.
I took this photo at the start of fall, near Dalholen. In the photo, you see how the colours of fall are adding colour to the hills, while the fog helps to illustrate the onset of colder weather. The colours of fall mark the inevitable transition to the coldness of winter.
