EPx

This photo was taken in Namibia. It was already getting dark as we were nearing the location where we would spent the night. The dried out remainders of this tree looked quite dramatic, while the last light in the sky adds a nice background. 

I created this image by combining three exposures that i created in Lightroom from the same RAW file. I used a slightly overexposed one to allow me to bring more light to the tree. I also used one where i pushed the shadows a bit to allow me to get more structure into the foreground. The original exposure was used for the sky, and to balance some of the halo-effects of the overexposed parts. Using Photoshop I combined the layers manually.
