This week's photo was taken near Trittenheim.  Fall is late this year, but nonetheless produces fabulous colours. I took this photo from the opposite side of the Moselle, using a long zoom lens, resulting in a "flattened" representation of the vineyards. The yellow colours of fall add interesting patterns to the vineyards, while the setting sun adds more warmth to the yellow colours. 

Of course I had a nice glass of wine after I got home from taking these photos ...
