Erik Proper's Pictures
Sossusvlei in Nambia is known for its red dunes. However, the mix of light and different patterns in the sand, such as walking tracks, can provide some nice abstract images. One could say that it leads to "of the beaten track" images.
For this week's photo, I therefore selected this photo taken at the bottom of Deadvlei. We are facing the slope of a dune, where the (harsh) sun is highlighting the tracks made by the many tourists finding their way around the dunes. Using the dehaize function in Lightroom i tried to gently increase the abstractness of the image.
