The last two weeks I was on a photo expedition to Iceland, with Geurt Besselink and Haukur Snorrason as photographic guides. Iceland offers visitors a wide range of stunning views. Especially the colour combinations one can observe are hard to describe in words.
In the next weeks I will be busy selecting and editing the many, many, photos I took during this expedition. However, as a first pre-view, this week's photo is one I took in the Maelifellssandur volcanic dust desert. To the right, in the background, you can see the green Pyramid Mountain, which is named after its distinct pyramid-like shape.
