This week's photo was taken at the Hatertse Vennen near Nijmegen. Was spending some time there for work, as well as to visit my family.

I took this photo early in the morning, around 7:30 to 8:00, while the ground fog was still present, and the light gentle. Early mornings at fens tend to have a dreamy atmosphere. This morning being no exception. One can easily imagine the birds enjoying these moments of early daylight, where it is still quiet and no disturbances by "human activity".
