Last week, we went for a walk in the Mullerthal. It had been raining most of the weekend, but around Sunday lunchtime it had finally stopped raining.
Even though in winter the colours in the forests might be a bit dull, the rain did bring out the colours, in particular the colours of the ancient rock formations that can be found around the Mullerthal area.
The original colour of the rocks is red-brown. Nature has, however, added different shades of green and even some black, leading to a nice pattern of colours. Eons of erosion have resulted in intriguing lines and holes.
In post, I slightly increased the saturation of the rock, while slightly reducing the saturation of the trees to the right, in order to put more stress on the rocks.
