Nine years ago, I visited California for work, and I was lucky enough to have some time to look around. One of the places I visited was San Francisco. And of course, I took the "mandatory" photo of the Golden Gate Bridge.
I took this photo from the pier at Horseshoe Bay, which is on the Northside of the bridge. When looking under the bridge, you can see the lights of down-town San Francisco. The bridge was, of course, beautifully lit up in light, while the lights of the city behind added a golden haze to the skies.
