A large version of this photo has been hanging over the dinning table in my living room for almost three years now. My guests always like it, since, when seated at the dining table, it gives you a feeling of "being there". One would almost think to be having lunch in Havanna.
As the photo was taken from the covered terrace towards the sun-lit Havana Capitol, around ... lunch time, there was quite a bit of contrast in the photo. As a result, I did have to make some adjustments to ensure that the terrace regained the warmth it originally had, while also ensuring that the street scene in the background, was not "washed out" (too much) because of the sun.
In the background, you can still see that the sun is quite strong "out there", thus making it all the more attractive to have lunch in the cool(er) shade.
